Vanitas

For this project I focused on making detailed 3D scultpts in Zbrush. Inspired by the Vanitas and Memento Mori art genres of the 1500s and 1600s, this piece is a 3D "still life". Each asset is sculpted in Zbrush and textured in Substance painter.

I wanted to try to incorporate a little of that oil painting feel into the textures and it was great fun to look up old oil painting techniques and paintings as references.

This project was finished wihtin a span of 5 weeks and is presented in Unreal Engine 5.2.1
